Photography Guides
Published here are NZ Landscape, Night Sky and Aerial Photography Guides providing you with helpful tips to assist you in your own photography journey.
New Zealand is where my joy of photography started.  I was brought up working on arable and hill country farms in the Manawatu-Whanganui Region.  This upbringing; together with pursuing surfing, hiking and skiing; developed my love of nature and the outdoors - and all of these activities contributed to my passion for creating stunning photographic images of these environments. I've spent most of my life travelling around this amazing country and this has made me very familiar with the locations of incredible spots for capturing great NZ Landscape Photography.
New Zealand is spoilt with a multitude of beautiful Beaches, breath-taking Southern Alps and Central North Island mountains, plus magical fiords and waterfalls.

I have been taking images of these New Zealand Landscapes for most of my life and have been lucky enough to travel the whole country from top to bottom. My blogs will help you plan your journeys no matter what part of Aotearoa New Zealand  you are wanting to explore.
And when planning your own NZ Landscape Photography journeys my hope is that you gain inspiration and enjoyment from these  blogs, the information in them and the images displayed on my site.
